The camps are directed and supervised by FC Barcelona Coaches directly from the FCB Escola in Barcelona. They will coach all sessions with the assistance of local FCB Coaches that are certified by FC Barcelona to work in the program.
The maximum Player to Coach ratio’s are: 1:12
We can train players from U6 to U16
For the first session of the camp participants will be grouped by age (U8, U10, U12, U14, U16). From there players are assessed and grouped according to skill level and in order to achieve the best player development outcomes.
Yes, we will have Goalkeeper’s coaches and specific training sessions. At Barça Goalkeepers are considered the 11th field player and this is taken seriously, therefore all Goalkeepers will also participate in field player exercises during the sessions.
Parents are welcome to watch training sessions. All we ask is that they remain off the field at all time and do not interfere in the process of the program (by talking or calling out to their player).
We aim to have food and drinks available, so parents can make a morning, afternoon or full day of it too!
Every Player will wear a full Nike FCB playing kit, to be ordered on our Club Store on the Ultra Football website.
They must wear this uniform for the duration of the training.
Please note players are not allowed to wear clothes with the badge of any other team or club.
We strongly advise players to bring clothing suitable to the training conditions (i.e. skins or thermals for cold weather). Please just make sure that these garments are worn under the FCB Uniform.
Players must pack:
- Your Barça Academy Camp kit (purchased on Ultra Football Club Store)
- Shin Pads
- Water Bottle (full)
- Snacks (i.e. fruit)
- Sun Hat or Beanie (must be Nike, FCB or Blank branding)
- Running Shoes (in case we have to go indoors due to weather)
- Extra gear for cold weather (i.e. Rain Shell).
We aim to be able to provide some form of development (i.e. theory or indoor training) regardless of what mother nature throws at us – SO PLEASE ALWAYS ATTEND TRAINING AS USUAL, unless we have advised otherwise.
